As well as manufacturing a wide range of popular consumer cameras, Fujifilm also make the xD-Picture Card. xD-Picture Cards come in three types, although the Standard type has been eclipsed by the Multilevel (M) and HighSpeed (H) cards. Many of the older Fujifilm Cameras are only compatible with the older SmartMedia memory cards, but the newer makes - such as the S Series, the F Series, the Z Series and the J Series are fully compatible with both xD-Picture Cards and also the SD (Secure Digital) format. Some of their cameras require the High Speed xD-Picture Card to capture video at the highest possible resolution.
