GameCube memory cards

GameCube memory cards are portable storage devices designed specifically and solely for the Nintendo GameCube. Although they are actually modified SD cards, they will not work in other devices and nor will other memory cards work in the Nintendo GameCube.

The standard sizes are Gamecube 59 Memory Card, Gamecube 251 Memory Card and Gamecube 1019 Memory Card. The numbers in each case refer not to an actual capacity in Mb or Gb, but the number of 'Save slots' that the card is divided into.

Larger sizes are available from non-official suppliers that are unaffiliated with Nintendo. These are often the cause of complaints for being unreliable compared to the official Nintendo merchandise, so buyer beware!
