Laptop memory

Most laptop RAM memory nowadays uses DDR2 SDRAM SO-DIMMs. This will change over the next few years as the switch is made to DDR3 SO-DIMMs. Laptop hard drives are also likely to make a whole scale change soon, to using flash technology.

Make sure if you are upgrading your laptop RAM that you have checked your computer's specification - there are many DDR2 SDRAM SO-DIMM configurations and they are not compatible with each other.
