The Memory Stick Pro was the same size and shape - similar to a stick of chewing gum - but offered considerably higher capacities and speed. The original Memory Stick, only available in sizes up to 128Mb, is no longer manufactured. Memory Stick Pro and Memory Stick Duo are older formats, less used today on account of their small (128Mb) capacity. The Memory Stick Pro Duo is the standard Memory Stick format, and the M2 Memory Stick Micro is the reduced size format. Be careful not to buy a high speed Memory Stick Pro-HG Duo unless your equipment is compatible with it.
