MMC Micro cards
The MMCmicro was originally created by Samsung under the name of S-CARD. In 2005 it was adopted by the MMCA (MultiMediaCard Association) and became part of the MMC family alongside the standard MMC and the MMCmobile.
The MMCmicro is one of the smallest memory cards available to consumers, just over a centimeter in length and width and only a millimeter thick. It's mainly intended for use in mobile phones.
With the use of an adapter the MMCmicro is compatible with all MMC and MMCplus equipment and most items that use SD (Secure Digital) memory cards.
