Samsung SSD drive

Samsung's solid state drive (SSD) is an advanced replacement for computer hard disk drives, based on the same flash technology used in memory cards. Without any of the moving parts found in a standard rotating magnet hard disk drive, SSDs are far more reliable and use far less power. They are also only half the weight of a traditional hard drive. Performance-wise, SSDs read and write speeds far exceed those of standard mechanical hard drives, by more than 150%.
