Role of Fair Work Commission | - Establish a set of legally binding national minimum standard wages and working conditions (award)
- Facilitate good faith bargaining to support employers /employees overcome disputes (through conciliation, arbitration, etc.)
- Approve workplace agreements.
- Deal with applications in relation to unfair dismissal.
- Monitor compliance with agreements and take enforcement action for any breaches through the courts with necessary. |
