Increased pulmonary blood flow are the most common CHD in this type of defect there is a communication of some type between the right and left sides of the heart. because of the increased pressure of the left side of the heart, some of the blood is pushed back to the right side of the heart. The most common defects involving increased pulmonary blood flow are patent ductus arteriosus, atrial septal defect, and ventricular septal defect VSD
