What does ‘enzyme specific’ mean/ describe lock and key theory?

‘Enzyme specific’ refers to when the substrate fits to the active site and the enzyme breaks it down into products, however when the enzyme is denatured it will not fit and can’t be broken down, therefore enzymes are specific - lock and key theory
