-Light has to let Through the Specimen. If its Thick then just get a Thin Slice via Cutting it -Get a Clean Slide [Glass or Plastic] and use a Pipette to drop 1 Drop of Water or Mountant, which will Secure the Specimen in Place -Using Tweezers, place your Specimen on the Slide -Add a Drop of Stain, if Needed [Colourless or Transparent] Stains can Highlight Key Structures eg Eosin --> Cytoplasm -Put a Cover Slip at 1 End of the Specimen, at an Angle with a Needle -Lower the Slip and Press it down with said Needle so not Air Bubbles are Trapped
