Nervous system divided into Central and Peripheral nervous system. Peripheral nervous system divided into sensory and motor functions Motor functions divided into somatic (skeletal muscle effectors) and autonomic (smooth muscle, cardiac muscle, and gland effectors) nervous system; and Autonomic nervous system divided into sympathetic (fight or flight) and parasympathetic (rest and digest).
