Pediatric: 2-2.5 mg/kg/d q8h IV or IM forms: ophthalmic, topical, IV, intrathecal, impregnated beads on surgical wire and liposomal injection. Covers wide variety of gram-negative infections, including pseudomonal diseases or pseudomonas and AIDS.
