-Treatment of arrthymias -under specilist: long half life (Losing dose)-- to get to steady state, stop (can still have sid effects and have interactions with other drugs) -200mg TDS For one week then reduced to 200 BD for 1 week and then maintenence 200 OD -Corneal microdeposits (reverisble)- NEED TO have an annual eye checkup -phototoxic reactions (skin is sensitive to the light)-skin discolouration- shield skin from light during during and several months after -hypo/hyper thyroidism (monitor TFTs) -SOB (suspect pneumonitis) -Hepatotoxcitie- raised transaminases (LFTs)
