What would be the difficulties of using a fusion reactor to generate electrical energy

There would have to be huge amounts of energy in order for the fusion reaction to take place once the reaction has begun, it can be sustained but the atoms that fuse form a plasma, which would be at a temperature of millions of degrees, so would have to be contained using a very strong magnetic field
