An α2 receptor agonist, is a short-acting muscle relaxant used to treat spasms and cramps caused by a variety of disorders. It has been linked to elevated liver enzymes and/or liver damage. It is contraindicated for use with CYP1A2 inhibitors and with fluoroquinolones, such as ciprofloxacin
