Immune tolerance state: HBeAg positive, DNA positive, HBsAg positive with no antibodies Immune clearance: decline in DNA, HBs decreases, ALT high, HBe is becoming more negative and antibodies are forming. Inactive state: Undetectable DNA, anti-HBe positve, HBeAg and HBsAg negative It is all associated with HBeAg level.
