What are choristoma?

It is an ectopic island of normal tissue—heterotopic rest (normal tissue in an abnormal site) and is a congenital anomaly. Presence of small nodular mass of normally organized pancreatic tissue in the submucosa of the stomach, duodenum, or small intestine.
