Unknown, classic inflammation, neuro inflamamtion, maladaptive changes in pain perception in CNS, or increase in proinflammatory cytokines in affected tissues, CSF, or release of inflammatory mediators and pain producing peptides by PNS, or central sensitization or genetic factors (HLADQ1, DR3)
