? Mallory-Weiss syndrome (MWS). It is characterized by ulcerations of the lower esophagus leading to hematemesis. It is caused by a long-term and forceful multiple vomiting, which tears and lacerates the mucosa of the lower esophagus (post vomiting causing esophageal and upper GI tract ulcers)
