➢ These are the most common bone tumors ➢ To think of first in adults ➢ Bone is the third most common metastatic site after the liver and lung ➢ The most frequent histological type: carcinomas ➢ The most osteophilic cancers: breast, prostate, thyroid, kidney, lung. ➢ Bone metastases can be inaugural (revealing) or not. ➢ A biopsy with pathologoical examination is often necessary. The most accessible lesion will be biopsied. ➢ Any bone lesion presenting elements of discrepancy between the clinic, the imagery, and the primitive should be biopsied.
