Question:

How is aspirin exacerbated cutaneous disease?

Author: H K

Answer:

Drugs inhibit COX1 pathway resulting in overproduction of LTs, so selective COX2 inhibitors are better. Cause angioedema alone (vasodilation, exudation of plasma into deeper tissue than simple urticaria, non pitting edema, non pruritic, occur on mucosal surfaces and respiratory tract or GI, may cause voice changes)
