Answer:

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and severe myelosuppression (primarily granulocytopenia) are the major toxicities associated with ara-C. Hepatic dysfunction is also occasionally encountered. At high doses or with intrathecal injection, ara-C may cause leukoencephalopathy or paralysis.
