Question:

How do you calculate the lower bound?

Author: Alana Ray

Answer:

If you are given an equation with two letters, e.g. v = s/t, first calculate the error intervals with the given rounded numbers. Now LB of s/ UB of t, which gives the value of v, because a small number divided by a large number gives the smallest possible outcome.
