Answer:

1) Clamp you gas syringe onto your clamp stand. 2) Measure 50ml of 0.5 mol/dm³ hydrochloric acid in your measuring cylinder, and then pour it into your conical flask. 3) Add a magnesium ribbon and measure how much gas is produced every 30 seconds for 5 minutes. 4) Repeat the steps but with 50ml of 1.0 mol/dm³ of hydrochloric instead, and compare the results.
