Question:

How does the Hadith teach Muslims to be equitable?

Author: Alana Ray

Answer:

The hadith teaches Muslims to be equitable as Muhammed encouraged equality regardless of religion. When Muhammed was Governor of Medina, Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, and Polytheists were all present in his state, and rather than creating converts, he established a constitutional state to ensure equality among the minorities. As the Hadith says, “all people are as equal as the teeth of a comb”, Muhammad did not believe in distinctions of social groups because, “Allah does not look upon your outward appearance, he looks upon your hearts and deeds”, he taught Muslims, evil intentions and actions are the only true evils.
